Student Algorithm Developer

Then look no further: We – at BioSense Solutions – offer a fantastic opportunity for a student position in our software development team, where you will be challenged to use your skills and build up your professional qualifications.

We offer a student job of 10-15 hours a weekly, distributed to suit both your and our schedule.

 

Algorithm Development

At BioSense Solutions, we strive to push the boundaries of automated time-lapse microscopy by combining our proprietary 3D scanning technology with advanced image processing, machine learning and a unique easy-to-use software.

Our main product oCelloScope is versatile with multiple applications in microbiology research and together with our customers we are constantly developing new customized algorithms and analysis.

Algorithms are developed in MATLAB and Python with various combinations of Deep Learning networks, machine learning technologies and classical image analysis.

 

Responsibilities

You will join our small but highly skilled R&D team, where you will be trained and guided in your new tasks and responsibilities.

  • Design and implement image analysis algorithms. 
  • Design and implement tools for evaluating algorithm performance. 
  • Read and implement methods from academic literature. 
  • Specify, collect, and annotate data if necessary. 

 

Your profile

You are currently studying Computer Science or related field. You are about to, or you have already completed your bachelor’s degree. 

For you to be able to handle your new student job, we expect you to have experience with MATLAB and Python  and preferably experience in object detection and tracking using machine learning or classical approaches.

As a person you are detail oriented and proactive. You will work with members from the entire team. We expect you to be able to plan and organize your own tasks and ask for help whenever you need it.

BioSense Solutions are situated in Farum, close to both busses and S-train.
