Student Software Developer

Then we have a unique opportunity for you in our Software Development Team. We offer a student job of 10-15 hours a week, distributed to suit both your and our schedule. Should you be more interested in an internship, this could also be a possibility.
In BioSense Solutions we develop automated microscopy solutions for laboratory use and real-time monitoring of various industrial processes. Our product oCelloScope are versatile with multiple applications and with a new world leading collaborator, we are looking into a new application, where we need our software platform UniExplorer to be expanded in several areas.
UniExplorer is a C# .NET windows application that uses a SQL database for data storage. It communicates with the oCelloScope instrument through a LUA interface. The oCelloScope instrument runs on a Linux OS with firmware written in C/C++.
You will join our small but highly-skilled R&D team, where you will be trained and guided in your new tasks and responsibilities. Your primary job will be focused around UI development, but we also look at your qualifications and interests when it comes to defining your tasks.
Some of your general tasks will be:
- Develop and/or modify existing UI software routines and programs.
- Provides software support for assigned products, including installation, maintenance, documentation, customization, and utilization of product features.
- Prepares and conducts system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software.
Structured engineering student with an eye for quality
You are currently studying Computer Science, Engineering or related field. You are about to or you have already completed your Bachelor degree.
In order for you to be able to handle your new student job, we expect you to have a solid understanding of C# and .NET programming – and preferably also have worked with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) and SQL database.
As a person you are detail oriented, proactive and service-minded. You will work with members from the entire team as well as customers and you therefore should have an open and out-going nature. We expect you to be able to plan and organize your own tasks and ask for help if you need it.
